　　Centrifuge tubes are made of different materials, which also makes them have different resistance to different chemical substances. So the chemicals you are going to use must also be taken into consideration to ensure that the centrifuge tube you choose has good tolerance to these chemicals.

　　Plastic centrifuge tubes: commonly used materials such as polypropylene (PP), polyamide (PA), polycarbonate (PC), and polyethylene terephthalate (PET). Among them, the centrifuge tube made of PP polypropylene is popular because it can withstand high-speed operation, can be sterilized at high temperature, and can tolerate most organic solutions.

　　It should be noted that when using a centrifuge tube, never fill it to the top, otherwise it will cause leakage. Fill up to 3/4 of the centrifuge tube (Note: During ultracentrifugation, the liquid in the centrifuge tube must be filled up, because ultracentrifugation requires a high vacuum, and only filling can prevent the centrifuge tube from deforming).
