A variety of plate-making methods provide a choice for the plate-making of a variety of automatic screen printing machine products. No matter which plate-making method is used, although the materials and processes are different, the screen printing machine printing has different effects on the printing plate. The printability requirements are consistent. Its performance indicators can be expressed as: the reproducibility of the screen printing machine plate, the thickness of the printing face film, the printing endurance of the screen printing machine printing plate, and the release property of the screen printing machine printing plate.

　　1. Reproducibility. Reproducibility refers to the ability of the screen printing plate to reproduce the original image. It is manifested in the accuracy, clarity, resolution and other aspects of the screen printing machine printing plate.

　　The precision of the automatic screen printing machine printing plate. The accuracy of the printing plate of the screen printing machine refers to the position and dimensional accuracy of the graphics and text of the printing plate. It is related to the original and auxiliary materials used in plate making and the method used in plate making.

　　The clarity of the screen printing plate. In photography, sharpness refers to the degree of change in the edge density of the image on the film, and in silk screen printing, it refers to the degree of uniformity of the image edge of the plate film in both horizontal and vertical directions. It includes three elements shoulder sharpness, bridging and flatness.

　　2. The thickness of the printing plate film. The thickness of the film on the printing surface of the screen printing plate affects the thickness and clarity of the ink layer of the imprint, especially for small images, and even changes the tone value and color of the dots. When the product requires thick ink layer and thick lines, the plate film should be thicker accordingly. Under normal circumstances, the thickness of the plate film that is most conducive to ink transfer is: screen thickness + 6μm ~ 8μm. The film thickness can be measured with a film thickness meter.

　　3. The printing endurance of the screen printing machine printing plate. Durability refers to the ability of a printing plate to withstand the number of prints. The printing plate durability should be adapted to the screen printing task.

　　4. The mold release of the screen printing machine printing plate. Releasing refers to the ease with which the plate film is removed from the screen of the plate. After the failure of plate making or the completion of the printing task, demolding is required in order to regenerate the screen. The demoulding operation should be simple, economical and with little damage to the wire mesh.
