A straight glass tube with a scale is usually called a pipette.

　　1. Check before use: Check whether the nozzle and tip of the pipette are damaged; check whether the mark and scale line of the pipette are clear; check whether it has been calibrated and is in school; check the cleanliness.

　　2. Rinsing: Shake the solution to be imbibed, pour a small part of the solution to be imbibed into a clean small beaker, use filter paper to dry the water inside and outside the clean pipette tip, and insert it into the small beaker to absorb the solution. When the pipette is sucked to 1/3 of the capacity, immediately press the mouth of the pipette with your right index finger, take it out, hold it horizontally and turn the pipette, so that the solution flows all over the inner wall of the pipette, and the solution is discharged from the tip of the lower end into the waste water. in the liquid cup. In this way, the solution can be absorbed after rinsing 3-4 times. (Note: The aspirated solution cannot be returned to the original bottle to prevent diluting the solution.)

Liquid absorption: insert the pipette that has been washed by the liquid absorption into the place 1~2cm below the liquid absorption surface, and absorb the solution with the suction ear ball (note that the pipette should not be inserted too deep into the solution, and it must be sucked while sucking. down, always at this depth). When the liquid level in the tube rises to about 1~2cm above the marked line, quickly block the mouth of the tube with your right index finger (at this time, if the solution drops below the marked line, it should be sucked again), lift the pipette out of the liquid-absorbing surface, And make the tip of the tube touch the inner wall of the container to be sucked for a while, then lift it up, and wipe off the small amount of solution adhered to the lower end of the pipette or pipette with filter paper. (When moving the pipette or pipette, keep the pipette or pipette vertical.)

Adjust the liquid level: Take another clean small beaker with your left hand, put the tip of the pipette close to the inner wall of the small beaker, keep the small beaker tilted, keep the pipette vertical, and keep the scale line and line of sight horizontal (the left hand cannot touch the pipette. Tube). Slightly loosen the index finger (you can turn the pipette or pipette slightly), so that the solution in the tube flows out slowly from the lower mouth. When the liquid level is close to the mark, press the right index finger tightly, pause for a moment, and then bend the solution according to the above method. Put the bottom line of the lunar surface until it is tangent to the upper edge of the marking line, and immediately press the nozzle tightly with your index finger. Put the tip close to the inner wall of the beaker, move a little towards the mouth of the beaker, and remove the droplet at the tip. Carefully transfer the pipette or pipette to the container receiving the solution.

Draining: Put the pipette or pipette upright, tilt the receiver, put the lower end of the tube against the inner wall of the receiver, let go of your index finger, and let the solution flow down the inner wall of the receiver. 15S, place the tip of the pipette or pipette on the base of the receiver, slide it back and forth against the wall a few times (or rotate the tip of the pipette against the inside of the receiver for a circle), and remove the pipette.

Cleaning: After the clean pipette is rinsed with tap water, it can be washed with distilled water three times; if the pipette is not cleaned with water, it needs to be washed with chromic acid lotion; Soak in liquid for 15 minutes to several hours before cleaning. The inner wall of the cleaned pipette can be evenly wetted by water and there should be no water hanging; the contact between the liquid surface and the pipette forms a normal meniscus.
