　　Instructions for the use of serum pipettes.

　　1. Before using: To use a pipette, first look at the pipette markings, accuracy level, scale marker position, etc. Before using the pipette, it should be rinsed with chromic acid wash to remove oil from the inner wall of the tube. Then rinse the residual wash with tap water and rinse with distilled water. The inner wall of the washed pipette should be free of water droplets.

　　Before removing the solution, use filter paper to absorb the water inside and outside the end of the pipette, then wash the wall of the tube 2 to 3 times with the solution to be removed to ensure that the concentration of the solution removed remains unchanged.

　　2, aspiration: when using, use the right thumb and middle finger to pinch the neck of the tube above the marker line, insert the pipette into the solution to be measured about 1cm below the surface, should not be too much, so as not to stick too much solution on the outer wall of the tip of the tube, and should not be too little, so as not to absorb the empty after the liquid level has fallen. At this point, take the earwash ball in your left hand to gently suck up the solution, and pay attention to the position of the liquid level that is rising. The pipette should fall with the liquid level in the container, and when the liquid level rises to about 1cm above the scale mark, quickly plug the mouth of the tube with your right index finger and remove the pipette.

　　3. Adjust the liquid level: lift the pipette upwards away from the liquid level, with the end of the tube still leaning against the inner wall of the vessel holding the solution, keep the tube upright, relax your index finger slightly (sometimes you can turn the pipette slightly) so that the solution in the tube slowly flows out from the lower mouth until the bottom of the curved moon surface of the solution is tangent to the scale line, and immediately press the mouth of the tube with your index finger. Remove the droplet against the wall, remove the pipette and insert it into the vessel that will receive the solution.

　　4、Release the solution: Move the pipette into the vessel ready to receive the solution, so that the outlet touches the wall of the vessel, so that the vessel is slightly tilted and the pipette is upright, then relax your right index finger and allow the solution to flow freely down the wall, wait for 15 seconds after the solution has stopped flowing out. If the pipette is not labelled "blow", the solution remaining at the end of the tip should not be blown out, as this residual solution is not included in the volume of the pipette.
